How do you measure the decibels of your IEMs?

I’m looking for ways to protect my hearing and I’m really keen on understanding what decibels my IEMs are operating at while I’m listening to music. I know that I can use my iPhone as a decibel meter but I’d really like to get a more accurate reading. Any recommended decibel meters that I could use?

And how are you going to connect this decibel meter to your earphones to get a more accurate measurement than the one included inside your iPhone? lol.

In my case, I own a 711 coupler, a mic which is used to measure the frequency response.
I just play a song into it and get a very rough estimate value (I don't think precision of measurement is really important for deciding what's loud and not).

I do IEMs and remove one IEM and play on speakers and roughly volume match my Left and Right ears and get a SPL reading of the speakers from the same position as my ear.
