Try to get online with Mario Kart, put in the SSID and WEP but when i click test connection it fails.....set get ip and DNS to auto. I don't know what else to do.

The router is set to disable SSID broadcast, but i've tried it with it enabled and still the same error. Added the mac address of the DS to the router as welll. Anyone got an idea how to fix it?

Tried the following now

Turned off SSID in the router
Put in Mac address in router
Using the auto detection in the DS
DS see the router, put in WEP, fail connection test !!!!!!!!!!!! Why???

If i disable SSID, it loses it, even thou i got the name put in the DS.....

I get various error messages, one tells me something abotu the DHCP, i dunno whats wrong wth my DHCP as my laptop works with the wifi.

so confused

nintendos online troubleshooter is actually quite good, I would suggest you check it out first.

Try static then, and check what IP'S your routers range is / what's taken.. I've had problems like this before, status imho is recommended for any computers on a network that are there for good.

Ditto to Redleader's advice. I had a bit of trouble getting my DS up and running too. Try messing with your WEP settings, set it to 64 bit, and then change it to something else and then use that key with your DS and see if that doesn't work. I tried doing that with the DS and it worked for some reason. If all else fails, all you're missing out on is a bunch of snakers and cheaters online anyway
