How do you disassemble, or at least take the pads off of the HD485s

My pads are being mis-shapen by the long hours I have these things on, I was wondering if I could clean these or somehow re-shapen the pads.
I turned them and they almost felt brand new, now how to take them off and how to perform cleanliness maintenance on these headphones.

Grab the pad with your fingers and pull.

Any special formula I should use to clean these up?

i would wash them with dish detergent, just take it easy while washing them dont be ruff, just gently

OK I washed them, now they smell like um... dish detergent.
Man, I can hear the headphones and I want to put them on!!! GaH, hurry up pads, DRY!!!

BAD NEWS!!!!
One of the clips that holds on the padholder/dust cover for the driver, BROKE.
I think I may RMA them with Sennheiser since they do have a 2 year warranty, I don't want to do it but changing pads IS a user replaceable item, well on other Sennheiser products.
I didn't even "rip" the padholder/dust cover off either, the clips are just made out of plastic, plastic breaks. Not too happy, because I will have to listen to **** while they are being RMAd.
