Well, i did the setup guide. setup fubar, winamp and vinyl drivers.
24bit pad to 32bit, 96khz slow mode, for fubar 0.8.3
kernel streaming output v3.6 for winamp.
auto sample rate, immerzio 3d ON, PCM only for vinyl v3.10

Im getting sound through toslink to my external dac (grey box with lots of imputs, i think this is an ext dac, correct me if im wrong) => splits into =>sub AND => Akai EA-G40 equilizer => Technics SU-V660 => sony hifi speakers(is this good?)

Symptom:
when i click on a song, there is a 1-2sec delay. when i hear a window sound, music goes off. winamp says sample 16bit, freq 44100hz, ch- 2, i hate delay.

Fubar plays music, with all the setting above. seems faster than winamp.

Question:
1. i think that grey thing is a dac, i have ordered a pair of Audio technica AD700, where do i connect them too? Ext Dac(unknown brand) OR rear out wolfson dac

2. And most importantly, AM I GETTING BIT PERFECT SOUND!?!?!?????

3. is my setup ok? with the ext dac and split 2.1, i am getting sound in all speakers and sub.

4. whats with the 3d sound. yay or nay?

5. am i doing anything wrong? driver versions? sample rate?

THANKS FOR ALL THE HELP I WILL RECIEVE

That's normal

winamp says sample 16bit, freq 44100hz, ch- 2, i hate delay.

Fubar plays music, with all the setting above. seems faster than winamp.

ExtDac. Wolfson can't feed cans unamped

2. And most importantly, AM I GETTING BIT PERFECT SOUND!?!?!?????

If you resample, most probably you don't. But don't sweat it

Technics SU-V needs a lot of modding to start sounding good. Can't comment on the rest

4. whats with the 3d sound. yay or nay?

Nay

5. am i doing anything wrong? driver versions? sample rate?

Try non-resampled sound (44.1 ripped CDs) to "2.0" in Vynil. Could be better, could be worse fro you.

also, i just notice a couple of things when listening to a live recording of
travelling soldier by dixie chicks

omg, there is stuff i didnt know exist..... the off tones and the audience seem clearer. it really really sounds different in the finer stuff. but the overall sound is the same.

i guess the resampling does muck with the digital sample. 0011110010101 is changed to 1010100010101
