How do the CD2000 sound (NOT CD3000)?

Sorry I can't help, never even knew they existed.

I would make a bet that they don't sound as good as the CD3ks.

Seriously though, of all my time here on head-fi, I never heard much about them. A search returned only the following.

They were the open-backed CD-series ones, weren't they? I don't believe I've ever read a comment from someone who owns a pair.

Lots of people have owned the CD1700, though.
