Pop out the plactic part at the end that says "Made In Ireland", slide out the old one, slide in the new one, pop the plastic part back in, and listen to your favorite music.

Thanks, years after you posted this... I was hesitant to pop that part out until I read your post. It popped out undamaged and snapped right back in after I got the new headband padding in there.

Any idea where I can find the plastic part that pops out so you can change the cushion? My son dropped my Senns and it popped out and we can't find it anywhere. I checked Sennheiser's website and they don't list it as an available part.

Call Sennheiser and ask if they can sell you that part. They don't list all available parts on their site.
