Seems cool, I'll give it a try. Thanks!

Anyone have suggestions towards new cans?

I say better cans. The MS2i is wonderful headphone. Its the best all-arounder in that family and the sweet spot of sound, price and construction.

when i had the ms2, i used reverse senn hd414 pads. i thought that it was the best compromise between the bowl sound and the hd414 sound, which mean better bass and retained the highs.
