How do I get k/bs to show up in iTunes

How do I get the k/bs to show up in iTunes when I'm importing CD's? I'm currently using Apple Lossless. From reading past posts lossless sounds best,is that correct or should I stick with 320 aac?

Right click on the bar that says name, artist, etc. You'll see bitrate listed to show (it's not on by default).

Yes lossless is best, but you'll have to test to see if with your equipment and ears if you can tell the difference between it and say 224 VBR AAC.
