I need to store some of my headphones in my unheated garage. These are my HD580, HD650, Hd25, DT880. The temperatures will likely drop below 15 F. Is there any harm caused here?

I'm not sure. There might be some soft parts inside the drivers that could stiffen up, that might not be good. But your very best bet is to call sennheiser usa and ask them.

I had my RS-1 in the back of my car where it dropped to 28 or so. This was just overnight, but they were fine. I'd think it would be more important to wrap/box them so no critters can get to them and so they stay dry.

I think the main thing is before you use them again let them warm up to room temp for a day or so. That way all the little parts are up to temp before they have to move.

As Uncle Erik mentioned: make sure they stay dry. What would most likely kill them is when you bring them out of storage and water condenses inside them and possibly shorts something out. Wrap them in a blanket and stick them in a nice dry box or air-tight container and you should be just fine.
