I've tried using the Boolean search operators AND, OR, NOT or AND NOT to refine searches and use quotes to specify searches for word strings without success and don't see any mention of them in the searches I've done.
Can they be successfully used in the forums and I keep missing how to apply them here, or are they unavailable. Searching for Boolean comes up dry so I am thinking they are not available but would like to know for sure.
Also some search results seem to include posts in which the search term is bolded, but many do not have the term bolded or bring up an abstracted portion of the post without any mention of the search term. Am I missing something here, too, that is causing this variety in responses?
