How bright is the Sony v6/7506?

Actually, they still are popular studio monitors.....it's the recording industry that is keeping them in production (certainly not consumers.....who haven't seen the MDR-V6s at your local Circuit City for 15 years). IMHO, they're pretty well balanced....good reference cans....not particularly "fun"

On the contrary, I find them horribly misbalanced with a bloated midbass, and very offensive upper midrange. They are comfortable, though
