How are people using their wired earbuds with new jackless iPhone/Google phone?

Hi guys,
Wondering how / if people are using their wired earbuds with the new iphone or pixel 2, both lacking a 3.5mm input?
Likely to be standard on most new phones in a short while..

Have a sennheiser IE80 w/ null-audio cable that I would like to use and am due for a phone upgrade!

They would just plug it into the dongle...Apple has a short cable that is Lightning Connector Male > 3.5mm jack. It looks annoying and it uses it's own little DAC which is arguably crap but it works.

The AptX dongle looks promising. I can't find anywhere to order or see a price however, including the "buy now" button on that link which is dead.
Any idea / anyone else?
In my case, would be for Android.

Because it's so new Fiio posted on their FB page last week that they've only started shipping out of the factory then. Can't you wait a couple of weeks for ships to arrive and containers to go through Customs?

Buy an LG V-series. I prefer mine to the iPhone which I switched from.
