How about some IC/PC suggestions for my small budget...

I decided that it's time for me to purchase some decent entry level interconnects, as well as a power cord for my future Millet + Steps combo. Now, I won't be purchasing these for another 2 weeks, but I'd like to hear some suggestions in the lower budget range.

For the RCA cables, I'd like to spend a maximum of $70, and I'd prefer they are at least 1.5 meters. I wouldn't mind dedicating $40 to $50 towards the power cable, and I'm guessing 4 feet is the minimum.

Finally, one more question: Given the fact that I like the Sennheiser sound a lot, and the other fact that I've got a tube amp, do you think silver cables would be a better match?

edit: I guess I should add that I have no problem buying these cables used. I'll have plenty of time to keep my eyes glued on the F/S forums for a particular type you guys recommend.

Ok, I'm thinking of picking up the ZU Oxyfuel and Zu Birth power cable from the Zu cable seller on Ebay. I've read decent things about the Birth, but not much on the Oxyfuel. Would anyone suggest something better for the price?

Looks like those two combined will be more expensive ($30-$40) than the Zu combo I mentioned. Granted, Audiogon only had the Cardas from Drew at Moon Audio, and the power cord was at the manufacturers site. Any specific places you would recommend me look at?

There is a MINT 1.0m Cardas 300B interconnect for $35, rated VERY conservatively based upon age only. This is a great deal.

There is a 1.5m PS Audio Plasma power cord for $90 that is also a great deal. You could probably offer $75 and get it no problem.

For $110, I think these cables would be a great value for your purposes.

If you do decide to go with silver, let me know as I can sell you my pair of Headphile XRS interconnects. I didnt find that silver worked all that well with my setup, but I have heard it sound great on others gear so who knows...

It looks like the Cardas interconnect has been sold, but there is a 1.0m Tara Labs RSC Axiom interconnect for $65. This is a great deal as well!

Well I won an auction for some Zu Oxyfuel RCA's. If I don't see anything on the Gon within the next few days, I'm gonna try and pick up a Zu Birth.
