I would like to see a photo gallery featuring people's gears and anything else that may be of interest for head-fiers.

besides the right to brag it would also incite interest to beginners and give potential buyers a better look of the eq in question without the glossy print ads.

is it possible?

how much space do you need?

if you can fit it under 10mb you can probably host it on your ISP webspace. 10mb is pretty standard some offer more... some even offer 10mb per email address. if you've got like 5 email addresses then you can have 50mb of storage for your site.

check out what your isp will offer you. its very likely you can run your site for free by doing this.

By this site I meant literally This site aka Head-fi! I don't think that Jude would be able to afford to host images at this time is all.

My own site is free, but it's not really a website, just a collection of pics that you can look at is all.

oh i see what you meant.

i do understand forums cost alot of money in bandwidth. one of the forums i visit averages 600 users online all the time. bandwidth costs are around 2g's a month.

you should check into your isp for hosting your site with your images. depending on how much space/how many emails you have you could put all the html and some pics on one email and put more pics on the other addresses. this really is extremely easy to do. most of the isp's use ftp to manage the file transfers and it couldn't be easier to do. by hosting on your isp you could create a real gallery... not like the one you currently use which you (probably) have very little control of the format. isp space is virtually your space to do whatever you want with (within the law).
