I’ve got a Walkman which I love. Sound is great and easy enough to use.
Would be happy to leave it as that but a friend has given me a broken iPod classic 5th gen because he knows I like to fix things. It’s got a dead HD and battery life isn’t great. So I’m going to put a new battery in and an SD adaptor.
I might have rose tinted specs but I loved my iPod back in the day. I remember it as smother and easier than this Walkman.
All my music is in ALAC. Anybody tried both? I’m wondering if the classic won’t sound as good compared to the Walkman now.
Got a few weeks until my parts come in and I have time for the work
