Hello

I registered today primarily to ask about a pair of headphones I picked up today. I can't seem to find any pictures of them much less any information.
I was curious about whether they had any value or not(probably not), I'll probably end up keeping them anyway though if only for the awesome L/R art.

Thanks and feel free to move this thread if I misunderstood the topics.

Hi!^^ I wouldn't say they're all that comfortable, I mean they're pretty old. I couldn't find any of my adapters so I haven't been able to try them (I hope they work at all), I did order a new one so we'll see about the sound in a few days.

Hosiden is a Japanese brand. This particular model is most likely just like any other oversized similarly styled 80's headphone.
And it's most likely worth very little.

I would guess it contains very low-fidelity 50mm paper-cone drivers, that just look like miniature loudspeakers.
However, judging by the headband which is identical to a headphone by Universum*, there's a microscopically slim chance that it might contain 50mm mylar drivers like these:

But even if that were true, they would still be worth just a tiny bit more than 'very little' since these are somewhat of a rarity, but actually nothing particuarly special either.
Since they're also pretty low fidelity and extremely prone to dying (notice the corrosion).

* run a search for "Universum kopfhörer" and you'll get a bunch of hits of a red headphone that looks identical apart from the red-cup shape.
** universum made 2 red headphones, I'm referring to the rectangular one, not the oval one with the volume slider.
