Hii from Down Under, it's great to be part of such a cool forum, am looking forward to contributing.

Firstly I'm off too China & Hong Kong the day after Christmas and will be looking for a set of headphones specifically to hook up to my Oppo105 and listen to flac files.
Budget wise I'm open to anything from USD$300 up to USD$900.
I'd prefer open aural, perhaps with a removable cable.
Please feel free to put forth suggestions. Also if anyone has knowledge of the shops in HK such as Mingo's, Jaben & Kingsound I'd be very interested in hearing it.

Thanx

Mingo's have a slightly higher markup, but that place is very comfortable and the sales are very helpful. Jaben is alright and Kingsound is where you want to go if you know what headphone you are looking for.

Just back from Hong Kong and here is my haul of goodies.
Bought from Mingo's, Jaben and Broadway, all in the Mongkok area.
Cost of all, $705.AUD.
1. JBL Synchros S700 Premium Powered Over-Ear Stereo Headphones.
2. CrossRoads Metal Headphone Stand.
3. Clicktronic headphones cable (3.0m).
4. Shure SE215 in earphones.
5. FiiO E12 Mont Blanc Portable Headphone Amplifier.

I must say, these JBL 700's sound awesome.
