I'd really appreciate some help, input, comments etc. I'm looking for a pair of headphones that I would be using for watching Blu-Ray movies and HD TV. I'm looking for quality and as close to surround sound as possible. I'd be wearing them while my wife and I both watching the movie. She doesn't like the volume up as I do, so this would be our compromise to watching movies together. I take it I would probably need a closed set since I would hear the movie both through the headphones and through our speakers with an open set. I'm looking to spend around $200 - $300 Appreciate your thoughts...

I love my Grado SR325is headphones with my Pioneer Elite receiver/amp and home theater. With 2 small kids who go to bed by 8pm, it's the only way I can enjoy and Blu Ray movies.

don't get the grado's as suggested above. Firstly, they are open (you wanted closed ones in your opening post), and they won't offer an enveloping soundstage when compared to other similarly priced models.

If a nice natural presentation is what you're after though, I do suggest going open phones.
