hi,
are there any home headphone amps that i can plug my ipod straight into and use out of a wall socket without the the need for cable adaptors, eg mini to rca.
below $300us if possible.
thanks,

I don't think there are.

Have you considered a portable amp, and then just don't move it?

My iBasso D3 with line a out adapter sounds great.

I gave my Little Dot I+ to my father with Grado RS-2 and he's connecting 1st gen iPod Nano from line-out to Little Dot and the combination sounds great.
