I love spicy food, in fact the spicier the better (usually)... Thai food is my favorite...I've been to Thailand about 10 times, and I love "real" spicy Thai food. But today...wow...I went to a restaurant here in Taipei & tried some of their spicy beef. Here it is an hour later and I'm still feeling it. I still ate more of it than I should've, and it tasted awesome...but man, this stuff is insane:

Pft. Wait 'till you try Szechuan food with 'Ma La'. Mother of all spices, it's so hot it makes your tongue go numb. Eat before dentist for extra anasthesia!

And maybe make your dentist faint with the smell...

Spicy food = life. So good.

Yes!! I tried some of that stuff last year...that is without question some of the spiciest stuff I have ever eaten. Definitely.

But man, this spicy beef here is NOT to be trifled with...I'm serious.

Actually, I'm fine right now...I could still feel the burn as the meal settled in my stomach earlier, but presently no problemo. I'm sure things will sting a little later...but it's worth it.

As I mentioned, it was delicious...just insanely spicy!
