The BuyItNow is $1,750 for the Oris 200 Horns, Lowther DX3's, brass phase plugs, Onken mahogany cabinets, AVI drivers, and a passive filter circuit... and it is all assembled, too.
Parts cost for this setup (unassembled and unfinished) as configured is, like, $3000.... not to mention this stuff never shows up on eBay, Audiogon, or.... well... anywhere.
Keep in mind this system isn't plug and play. There are many variables involved. It's a journey, but a fun one. Orchestral, vocal, and rock music is the strong suit of the Oris... and at 106db/1watt, even a MicroZOTL could drive these speakers well.
I personally purchased my Onken cabs and passive filter from Andy and he's 100% legit. This is The Speaker Deal of 2002 if I've ever seen it. I'm still in disbelief. I'd buy it myself if I had the room for another pair. I hope a Head-Fi'er gets it before someone from Audio Asylum (where I saw the post) does!!
