Does anyone use their PortaPros with holes in the earpads?

Do the holes make any sound changes?

cutting holes in the pads really extend the high end and the phones sound less muffled, more open. I would definitly recomend the mod as it is a drastic improvement over the stock setup

I cut holes in the pads on my Portapros. It definitely reduced the bass and incresed the treble. No other changes - the bass was no tighter, there was just less of it. I ended up buying new pads from Radio Shack. The pads with holes didn't match my PCDP well.
