They have not solved the main issue with 901 which is that the AK players are twice as sexy. Plus I am a bit wary about downgrading the DAC.

I'm not sure the rumor of 9018k2m is accurate. I haven't seen any mention of that, and the claimed "longer playing time" is achieved by shutting off the analogue section when it is not playing back/idling.

It seems to be just a casing upgrade (new color, more precise molding, better wheels) plus minor power mgmt changes and better firmware, with mostly identical signal processing and sq....

Never had any issues with these files before on the same player, so I guess it must be the new firmware. I have now experienced reboots when folder browsing too. However, if I am the only one experiencing this, it's most likely a corrupted download that causes this. (Installed twice from the same file.)

Genres > Artists > Albums > Tracks
