Unfortunately, the entire 802 owning population is also trying to download the update.

Incredibly slow would be an understatement.

That's why I provided 2 links  Both very slow?

Disappointed that it didn't have XLR balanced out and doesn't comes in black to at least match with the 901 color...

Yes, black color would be nicer to me as well. As to XLR balanced out, I think the LO from 901 isn't balanced to begin with. But they probably can do as what they did with the balanced amp card inside the player, to convert the unbalanced LO signal to balanced out in the dock station, it might benefit some users.

Maybe next version (HM1001 or HM902?) will have true balanced LO.

Another idea is to give users an option to add in an amp card in the dock station, plus one or two headphone out jacks, so we don't need to hook up with another amplifier if we don't want to. That'd be really cool. I know Mr. Sang (the one who designed and made the angle/discrete cards for HM901) has been working on something like this. Hopefully it'd be out soon: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XNzY1MDMzMjU2.html?x

Ksen's DIY version of the 901 dock is amazing. Guy is crazy. Looks so good. Makes the official dock look like the DIY one.
