Hello,

I currently have a Hifiman HM801 with Etymotic ER4S. I like it. It sounds pretty good to me, but i really haven't tried much else.I sometimes feel i want more bass (the usual ety complaint!), and would like to try a bassier IEM,(looking at the Heir audio 3.ai possibly, alhough it may be too bassy...).
I listen to mainly electronic music. Lots of dj mixes.

But the catch is that in order to afford it, sadly i would have to sell the hifiman!-Meaning i would need another cheaper player instead..
Should i stick with my combo, or move on to cheaper player/other iem??

Confused!-Anyone have any thoughts?

Thanks.

ps:i could never sell the er4s!!

My advice is to sell it, get a cheaper player and invest the rest in IEMs that have more bass.
