. Transformers need some 2-3 monts to break in (dont ask me that what i was told, but i can hear the difference). For acustic music specialy guitars this is heaven combo. Man sometimes i wish i was in US and i could come to some meeting to hear how other combos are sounding. Its ok with normaly recorded material, but with stuff like Watter lilly cds, Roling Stones Stripped, Muddy Watters Folk Singer, Vlatko Stefanosvski/Miroslav Tadic KRUSHEVO, Eric Bibb live, Eva Cassidy (aint no sunshine when he is gone) im just in heaven.
Also i listen to electronic music. Let me tell you that some albums are very good and warm and this come as suprise. Ever thougth k1000 lacks bass. Uff if its on cd it will sing and boom. I even had subwoofer attach to the rig, but dont miss it (while it quite work with k1000 cos they are so open).
I have at home friends 100db speakers which cost like over 6000 $ and they are in the "waiting" room
. I dont know. It seems that lately i more and more doubt if im going for some speakers. I can listen late in the night with this combo. Im tube lover from the start and i have plenty of warmness
. Just listen to Pat Metheny and Charlie Hayden Beyond Missuri ... Man this is so warm that you can actually toucht it.
HL jubal is also fully tube rolling friendly. U can loose top cover in 3 sec. And it can accept really large amount of differnt tubes from ecc83,81, 12ax7, el34, ktx88, 6550 etc.
Well im not nuts for too much rolling i like to listen to music , more and more lately.
I can say in whole of my listening carier i never enjoyed so much and so intimate. Man i thought at times that k1000 was burned out of at least one left speaker. But its iformation that comes to be revealed

The designer didnt fell that all this combo is too special. But what he knows
He just tested for a few mintues to check hum and noise and if it plays. Let me tell ya K1000 have the same resolution as 10.000 $ speaker and mybe even more. I couldnt bare not to try this face to face, k1000 vs speakers (trully higend). Ok you normaly wont get that big space in room as u get with speakers but all other is there. And talking on intimacy of music. Nothing can touch this nothing. Headhpone listening is really a way at least for me nowdays.
I can only thanks all of you who write reviews on k1000 and suggested tube amps. I could easily say this is the lifetime system. I mean i could live with this for good. Amp also comes with 10 year warranty and he designer always took back your amp if you buy new model of other model.
The only thing that bothers me lately is. If i should go back to lp. Somehow with lps you simple more listen to music. With cds it kind of can become too instant. Too much music -information. Mybe with all the rereleases on lps ill go and afford one record on month. And get all those great records from 50-60s from Satchmo, Miles, Coltrane, Blues, and amazing classic Living Sterero, Mercury, Mobile Fidelity.
As far as im concerned even if they stop record albus there is sooooo much quality material.
And i think what i learned with years is. 1000 cds and lps wont make you happy. You might show around how big your collection is but at the end of the days there is few dozen of records that most peoply listen periodical. At least one i know. It might stop under 100 tops.
If there will be interes i might do the more detail review of k1000 or HL jubal.
