I'd like to sicover some new artists that have really good lyrics that actually means something (no gangster rap) and/or really good rhymes like playing with words.
Can be in French or English
French examples are Koriass,Sniper,L'assemblée,*Loco Locass*
English examples are Eminem,Jedi mind tricks

Awaiting suggestions...

No offense, but I think Fort Minor is garbage. I guess it reminds me to much of those whining Linkin Parkers...some decent beats though.

IMO, the absolute most talented and intellignet group around today is Blackalicious. "Nia" and "Blazing Arrow" are tremendous albums; I dont have their latest.

Some other classic must haves:
Tribe Called Quest
The Roots
De La Soul
Roots Manuva

--->I really must check out this Saul Willaims dude already...

"gangsta rap" has such a bad rep on head-fi. There is good rap.
