High Quality Patch cable...

Hi, I am trying to find a 12" or less 3.5mm patch cable to connect my iRiver H120 to my Pocket Amp 2. I can find plenty in the USA but Im in the UK and all I can find are crappy cheap cables!

considering the two items you are going to connect together, the lead link you posted might be too much snake oil for the job.

one of the most debated topics - cables. i'm of the ilk that they do make a difference but to a point. what that "point" is i'm not sure but i'm not one to spend $70 on an ic. therefore i've gone the route of making them myself.

of course the above does not help you at all.

i agree with herandu that the cable from your link is overkill. check out the sponsors of head-fi. a number of them sell cables at more reasonable prices and ship to the UK. my suggestion is not to get too hung up on cables. but that's me.

yeah, I'd go with a Cardas HPI cable. I've got one that I'm not using if you can't get them there... but I'm sure you can

This cable will sound just as good as anything else you can buy.

Total waste of money. You probably have a drawer full of cables that would sound exactly the same.

As you are in the UK you could try qables.com, on of the sponsors here at head-fi. They are based in Holland so you don't have to worry too much about shipment time and there will be no hassle with customs charges etc.

I've bought from them and have no problem recommending them.
