How do you like your highs?
A: Vertigo highs - What is bass?
B: Jude, and MacDEF - Perfection! Get out of my face!
C: Tomcat - silky smooth
D: Like the Dark Side of the Moon

I don't like highs, mids or lows. I like instruments and voices.

treble is not eggs! You can only have them one way: accurate. not bright, not recessed, not silky-smooth, but accurate. 'Tis the path of the audiophile.

Note that Beagle and I are both AKG people!

I'm with Neruda and Beagle, I'm one of the AKG people, too. No highs, no lows, it must be

LESSER COLOURED MUSIC (corrected for the all headphones colour sound gang).

And now presenting

AKG Acoustics and lesser coloured sound.

Not sure. Somewhere between B and C. I like soft-dome tweeters, but I'm looking into getting a super-tweeter, does that answer your question?

I prefer a slightly laid back, smooth sounding treble. This has to do with me listening to some pretty crappy quality recordings partially (mp3 anyone?), but through a good source, a slightly bright sound is alright with me (Although neutral is best, I have a hard time figuring out what neutral is - are my HD600s neutral sounding to me? Mostly yes

)

The treble of the HD600s is pure magic to my ears. Then again, I don't have a wide listening experience, but I hope on changing that slowly, but surely

I like my highs rolling off at 16khz... so my etys will suit me perfectly

16kHz? I got $5 dollar store buds that do better than that

Ah my AKG. Like Chateau Rothschild, to be consumed on special occasions so you appreciate it more. Weekdays its Grado and Sennheiser with my microwave pizza.

I like a real rolled off top end,
anything above 35k just irritates my ears
