Hey guys, I've purchased a W3000ANV, and I'm going to be getting my other "dream" pair of headphones. I play the violin, cello, and percussion. So here's how I would like it to be:
1. A tight, punchy bass response; not too little, not too much
2. Thick, warm mids with a "fun" sound to them
3. Treble with just the right amount of sparkle to them
4. IMPORTANT: I want the drums and percussion to really shine and just blast through my ears. I actually don't mind if it's a little "over-emphasized." I really need the percussion to just come alive and really deliver a punch. This is for listening to some of the heavy percussion music that I play or that I listen to. Note: By percussion I don't mean the bass. I'd hate for these to sound to bassy.
5. I'd like for these to be paired with a portable amp. I want to be able to take them places...so just a little on the portable side would be great.
6. My budget is $2000 like my last pair of headphones (W3000ANV).
7. Open or closed does not matter; Over ear is preferred (and expected at the price).
Thanks in advance!
