Thank you, just purchased one transparent pair from an ebay seller! I will report once received :)

Just received my translucent pair today and immediately gave a try.

Unfortunately, I really don't like.
System looks cool but is (or at least this article from ebay) completely uncomfortable to me, hurting my ears...
I give up already using this method, even if it looks efficiency with doing some running for example.
I will maybe try the earhoox system later but I find this a but expensive for what it is (+ shiping to france).

After a couple more walks with the ES10, it seems to do a decent job with rock straight off the rockbox clip, although needing more juice than a VSD3. I doubt I'd try classical with them, but a great $6 spent. The only other $6 phone I've enjoyed is the Aiwa Shellz, although I wish I had found it in blue instead of black.

Anyone can compare the ES10 with the MC5 or m760?

Anyone can compare the ES10 with the MC5 or m760?

Bass: ES10 > MC5

Mids: MC5 > ES10

Highs: MC5 > ES10

Soundstage: MC5 > ES10

Overall Sound Quality: MC5 > ES10

Musically Fun: ES10 > MC5

Personally I like the ES10 better as the sound is more fun and intimate, but the MC5 is the better overall earbud.

I will compare ES10 with M760 since I don't own MC5 and will never plan to buy a pair.

- Bass :
ES10 > M760 (more presence and impact from the ES10, but more controlled in the M760)

- Mids :
M760 > ES10 (more detailed and present in the M760)

- Highs :
M760 > ES10 (here also, more detailed and present in the M760, clearly. To me highs are the bad point of ES10, they really need EQ to gain some presence).

- Overall soundstage :
M760 > ES10 (no match here, the M760 is the biggest winner. More space and the 3D sound looks magical but can't please to everyone).

I personally still like the M760 which is currently my 3rd best earbuds pair ever (after Mrice E100). But I rarely listen to them now since BE3 is still my king in every domains.
Btw, I finalized burning my second BE3 pair, and they sound the exact same as my first one, which is a very good thing and proves to me that blox is gaining quality in term of building items.

Thanks for the comparisons . I like the fact that ES10 has more bass but at all the rest is behind mc5 or m760. I guess i shouldn't expect more from a 5$ earbud . Still have no clue what is the difference between the 18hz-25000 and 20khz-20khz and i don't want to order one of each pair.

Also i 've checked blox earphones site and be5 is out of stock . Maybe the new flagship will be coming out ?

Last month, I got an email from Woo saying that the best of the BE lineup is coming out this month - maybe the last of the bunch as they will be focusing more on the next flagship. My BE3 just arrived but still have to get it personally from the post office. Let's see how it fares with my beloved BE7.

Frequency response quoted as a range of two numbers is kind of meaningless. Not only do most people not hear those high frequencies - the last 10,000 Hz (from 10kHz -20khz) is only one octave of music. The humanly audible spectrum before 10Khz (20 Hz - 10kHz) contains almost 9 octaves. This means musically that the difference between a response that goes to 12 kHz vs 20 kHz is less than one octave - that most people can't hear to begin with. However, something with a very narrow frequency response probably won't sound very good. But when comparing two ranges such as 5Hz-12kHz to 20Hz-19kHz, just as frequency response specifications probably isn't very meaningful.

Frequency response curves are much more useful - seeing dips and peaks - but at the same time - if you look at curves to iems/buds/cans that people say sound top tier - they aren't flat at all from 20Hz-20kHz - there are dips and peaks all over the place. Attached below are two curves of two different pairs of cans that some people might call top tier sound - and both are not ruler flat from 20Hz-20kHz.

The most reliable test is to put them on yourself, and listen to them over an extended period of time (days or weeks) and decide if you love or hate the sound and why.

PK1 as well. OK1 are a bit thicker , mx985 are large and strange shape and BE3 from what 've read all blox earphones are quite large
