Think I spotted an error.:) Lossless AAC? ALAC is lossless but AFAIK AAC is lossy.

Apple calls it "lossless". You know, let me just get rid to that reference, since it will have a polarizing opinion

I don’t think I’ve ever seen Apple call AAC lossless or even advertise it as such. Source for this? I know both ALAC and AAC are both stored in the m4a container (so both ALAC and AAC files have the m4a extension.

I'm not iOS user, probably googled it somewhere. It was a fair point since I'm not apple expert, thus I got rid of that reference in my review back when I posted it last year. But what I do know, every time I post another DAP review with BT Rx functionality that supports LDAC or UAT codecs, I get plenty of feedback from my readers telling me their iPhone doesn't support any which is sad. But anyway, these are great TWS as is.

I got great fit with the stock medium tips.

I tried all of the included tips, even the ones that typically fit me with HiFiMan headphones and really couldn’t get a good fit with any of them on the TWS800. Normally the small dual-flange tips and small single-flange typically fit me very well on the RE-400, RE-600, RE-300, and TWS600. The TWS800 seem to have a much more trickier/pickier fit than other HiFiMans. I ended up having to dig up different tips that seemed to fit better though. From the stock tips, the clear/translucent ones seemed to fit the best when it came to sound but weren’t the most comfortable (But definitely doable).
