You're right. It doesn't generate much heat and the position of the heatsink has been often commented on before.

I understand everything being relative. For myself this is probably the end of the road at least in terms of my headphone setup. These "middling" amps are probably as much as I can justify. I don't think I could afford any substantial upgrades after this point making this my last purchase before going down the speaker rabbit hole.

Which is why I do like the bakoon since it also power speakers making it somewhat of a 2 for 1. But that does make me curious which "real" speaker amps would you recommend? DIY isn't an option but if size wasn't a factor do you have specific models that would be somewhat within my budget?

Make life simple, grab the AMP-13R, pocket some change, enjoy a killer setup.

so, my speaker taps have arrived.
before I dive into the impressions I wanted to confirm @bigbeans impressions about pairing with M30 - have been listening until very late yesterday running only Susvara through M30 on Turbo Gain, Transistor-amp-mode, volume between 50 to 60, couldn't get over 70 otherwise it was getting too loud for me.
In comparison to Flux-FA10 this combo had the more full-bodied signature, closer to the Shanling house sound I have been falling in love with.
So - M30 can run Susvara indeed without extra amplification and though maybe it was not coming to Susvaras full potential I haven't felt it was lacking either!
That must be something quite amazing considering M30 is an all in one transportable package running from batteries!
I remember that impression was also shared by headphone auditions, Amsterdam before...
