As a sponsor I shouldn't mention our products in this context, so I won't :D

But as far as amps go, if you'll take a look at last 40 pages or so of this thread, there's a lot of talk about Susvaras driven from regular speaker amps' binding posts. I'd take a look into that.

You´re rather good guys so I´ll mention your products for you :relaxed:, the iFI Pro iCan on paper should have plenty of power.
Another alternative would be an SPL Phonitor X (https://www.cnet.com/news/the-prefe...les-who-love-headphones-and-speakers-equally/) paired with a Topping E30 Dac or the D90 if you want to spend more.

Used Yiggy for a DAC. Clear as a bell and quite a deal used.

If a headphone amp something like a Violectric V281 (used). If a regular speaker amp - used Class A (Pass X-150 - needs pre-amp) or a killer int amp - Sudgen A21 (used).

I like this idea, class A with 23 Watts into 8 ohms. Should be more than good with Susvara.

It's a sweet sounding amp, not the last word in detail, but consistent and calm from top to bottom. Something like the Pass INT-25 wipes the floor with it, but is also tres' expensive.

Both class A but different. Interesting, isn't it :) ?

I do find differences between Class A and other classes but within Class A we have sliding bias - Threshold & Pass, we have many tube amps, full bias SS, FET's, JFET's. I've been all all Class A since the early 80's - Electrocompaniet 25/25, Threshold Statsis 3, Krell KSA-50, Krell KSA-100, VTL Deluxe 140 w/ 807's, Jadis, Pass Aleph 3, Pass Aleph 5, Pass X-150 (2), Pass X-150.5, Schitt Ragnarok 1, BHC w/ speedball.

The Pass Alephs, X-150's, and Krell's were pretty similar to each other, the others were all over the map. I think Nelson Pass is the best amp designer of the past 50 years.

I wrote the above because many folks associate class A with certain sonics, but in reality it's as you've just said: there's a sliding bias within it that leads to at times very different results. And yes, Nelson Pass is one of the greatest if not the greatest audio engineer into transistor amps :).
