Just saved $9k lol
I don’t just look on measurements but I really try it to see if that makes an improvement or not. I’m not using entreq but tripoint signature, if your country could have a home trial I do recommend to try it.
It’s all about the real listening rather than using some threads to ignore what it could do.
I trust my ear rather than just read what someone said

Yes, on Tripoint yes. Ab and blind also.
Tripoint is a bit different than entreq, it’s not using rock and mineral. I don’t know theory behind though

i have both the 1266 TC and the susvara and am using the formula s /powerman combo with both.....the amp is fantastic with both and the best i have heard with planars...what i love is the amp is made for HP's unlike speaker amps and do not overpower the HP which i find gives them a relaxing yet powerful presentation...highly recommended
Passlabs XA25 Looks like a great amp in speaker application reviews but gets very hot to touch like a tube amp. The price compares well with the dedicated HP amps as well. Any compare this amp with Susvara to XI Formula S/powerman?

What's worse, is that those $9,000 Entreq grounding boxes are just wooden boxes full of rocks! Ones you can get for pennies on ebay or Aliexpress & like two thin cheap bent copper plates that also sell for just cents.
There is a cheap speaker terminal connector drilled into the wood & that's it.

Someone of whatsbestforum accidentally cut the cover on his expensive Entreq USB cable, only to find out that underneath the cotton sheath, was a plain generic $1 USB cable.

Someone should try this with headphones.
“I want to state that I do believe in creating a star ground system for your components. Ampex Roger on our forum motivated me to try this for my system. I don't need an African Bubinga wooden enclosure with laser engraved metal plates on the top and front of the box though. I just used a chunk of copper bus bar with some holes drilled and tapped for screws and ran a 10 gauge wire from each of my components to the bus bar and connected them with spade lugs to the bus bar. I ran one ground wire from the bus bar to the center screw of the outlet where my preamp is plugged in. My noise floor has never been lower and I'm quite happy with this arrangement. It's not as sexy looking as a polished Bubinga box with "classified" parts, but it does a damn fine job.”

btw I have a question, as 2.5mm plug had no lock system, using heavy headphone cable like prion4 or other more heavier one, will it fall from the headphone?
Thanks!

No, it doesn’t fall out. But I do hear the music cut out briefly when I move my head on occasion. So it does lose contact momentarily.

ARC REF75 is a tube amp so I would not recommended that. At least some resistance on the taps is required.
I ran my K1000s directly off my Conrad Johnson premier 12 140 watt tube monoblocks with no issues

Question for people running speaker taps, does your cable go straight from headphone to speaker taps or do you use a balanced xlr adapter in between? Thanks
For me directly from speakers tabs to headphones.

About 2.5mm connectors, the cable doesn’t fall out since those from DHC clip well.

Ground boxes effect is very relative to your home electrical conditions. It is like power regenerators. These must be tested in your personal setup.

This is actually science too! Music and it frequencies are noises...not just a simple sinuous waves as people would imagine but they are by itself “noises”. It can only make senses when people hear noises and take it as music :)

Having tried/owned numerous TOTL headamps, The auris nirvana is a pretty terrible pairing with the Susvara, relatively speaking . Congested , linear sounding and lacks dynamics and control

There are headphone amps and speaker amps that are a far better match . If youre looking for an amp for the Susvara you can do a lot better, even at a much lower asking price.

If you think its great then so be it, we all hear things differently. But IMO, the Susvara is far more capable than you think if you find the Nirvana to be 'great'
just wonderwing, have you listened to any other speaker amps since the 700i?
