Audivina's biggest problem is that it sounds hollow. Yes, first it portrays an impressively spacious soundstage for a 'closed back', but they sound like the vocalist was singing from the bottom of a barrell.
I think it's great that they are trying something different, no matter if it sounds good or not, to be honest. Innovation is great, sometimes it turns out awful, other times amazing. Just glad someone is trying something new
Excited to see and hear these.

So do I. I very much share your opinion that as long as Dr. Fang is trying new things eventually they'll land on something magical. Most of their product line is class leading.
There is always a chance. I wouldn't be surprised if they discontinued the Audivina. The price drop from $1999 to $699 is big even for a notorious price-slasher like HFM. Makes me feel like they were trying to get rid of the stock.

The positioning of HiFiMan ISVARNA in the HiFiMan ranking is of interest.
ISVARNA will be between Audivina and HE-R10P.
Or will HiFiMan ISVARNA be the company's flagship in the list of closed headphones?
