titanium diaphragm. I think the RE272/262 were rumored to use this as well, but it isn't definitive. Hifiman needs to work on it's bass extension/rumble, that's were their line-up has it's flaws. 

Wow! But is titanium to be any better than 3 dynamic drivers with a kelton subwoofer?

what is driver count? Far from means a better earphone. Its what they do with the driver. Also the JVCs seem to be a basshead IEM and i think this is said to be heading down the analytical path so you will wanna think of your preferences before hand!

It is the RE-600 Songbird and the RE-400 also has a fancy name which i have now forgot....

i knew it was something to do with water! I am soon to start my review on the RE-400 and really do like this IEM, more than i have an IEM for a while.

If I have RE-272 and RE-ZERO - is it worth getting the RE-400? Or is it a downgrade?

Really can not help you as i have neither of them but it does take an analytical sound which seems to be what they both have so i doubt it is a needed addition to your collection, maybe the 600 though
