Just passing by to say these are my engame headphones CONFIRMED!
What I'm hearing here is CRAZY!
Waiting for my Gustard P26 preamp, Burson Dual Vivid OPamps and Arctic Magnus to arrive so I can QUIT the hobby!
Actually I think I want a streamer (something like a Sonore or SOtM) as a final piece of the puzzle to push the last bit of detail/black background/stage I can.
They scale tremendously!
Definitly recommend building a setup around HE6seV2, the Insane. 🤪

Lol this post is a throwback to early 2000s word art!

anyways I heard from someone who heard from someone who heard from someone that the HFM Susvara is another step up from the HE6SE v2

My entire setup (with cables, etc) of my signature is the cost a Susvara alone. KEK
And I doubt it's much better.
Mine must be more engaging too for the music I really like to listen to (electronic).
So:
GG! :)

Lol same, even with my custom built beta 22 amp it's still less than half the price of a single susvara

I am using RS2 on DAC mode -> FA-10 -> HE6SE V2, it is really amazing.

What is the stated output at 50 Ω ? Looks like about 1.3 wpc. They will play. Full bass output? Anyone try it?

399?? ???? !!!!!!!!!!

For music that needs bass grunt it's better than any of the long cup HFM planars. The Susvara is better overall but lags the grunt (and the shape is betwreen HEK and 6 SE).

The stock cable and pads really don't show it off well. So call it $599, and take off the rear screen as long as unsteady fingers won't be near it.

And yes it's a superb deal.

Is JDS El amp II+ enough for this?

  • Output Impedance< 0.7 Ω
  • Channel Balance+/- 0.56 dB
  • Max Continuous Power, 600 Ω160mW (9.8VRMS)
  • Max Continuous Power, 150 Ω650 mW (9.8 VRMS)
  • Max Continuous Power, 32 Ω - Standard1.3 W (6.53 VRMS)
  • Max Continuous Power, 32 Ω - Boosted2.3W (8.68 VRMS)

Superb deal indeed, however, for someone like me who paid over $576 in the past will have a bitter taste in their mouse.
