No, I didn't want to do anything in case I have to return them or open a dispute.

I wish I could remember, but I can't remember if they do that here or not. And even so, in this case even the seals on the Hifiman box itself were broken. I don't ever remember customs opening a sealed product.

Haha Thank you. I have tried to buy ready to use but couldn't find and I wasn't interested in plastic version printed or cut from plastic net. I suspect metal better affect to sound as near contact of strong magnets on drivers. Also better protection.

I got it from my mum - piece of thin woman's tights
That is very important in my opinion to protect from dust. Stock ones had that.

What mods did you get? I guess the carbon fiber headband was never offered?

He made the cups ready for all the Audeze headbands. I had that headband already so simply screwed it on once the headphone came back. Other mods are Blu Tack, Sorbothane in the hollow parts of the cups, 2.5mm connectors instead of SMC (3.5 possible too).
