My signature for fuzzor mod. Cheers.
I felt odd doing the anaxilus mod on an $1100 headphone. I'd feel absurd modding this, especially if I could tear the diaphragm with a sneeze.

If we have to mod the headphones, which will cost three thousand dollars, to make sound correct the headphone itself is not worth it from the start.
I really hope Dr. Fang adjusts the headphones again if treble is becoming an issue.
For those of us with 10 thumbs, not even a consideration!
Are the HE1000 users here running them balanced by any chance? Thanks. Balancing seems to calm my HD800s and HE560s with different amps.
Oh, can you tell me if the supplied cables are separate 1/4 inch, 1/8 inch and XLR cables, or is it 1 cable with adapters? Thanks.
If there is one objective truth in high end audio, it is that a high price does not promise perfect sound, or even freedom from major flaws.
Will try with rag in balanced mode when mine arrives.
Well, for 3K headphones I really would not accept "major" flaws tho. But I do understand nothing can be perfect for everyone.

would rather have extended highs than a noticeable treble roll-off (looking at you audeze). really looking forward to giving this can a listen.
Supplied cables are separate. And I imagine we'll see a mix of balanced and SE use based on the amps everyone is using in their collection.
The beta units have been burned in at factory, and also personally inspected by Dr. Fang.
With that said, he believes that the issues with treble may be fixed over time as the diaphragm settles. You may notice quite an evolution over the course of the burn-in period.
To that end, just put on the headphones and enjoy.![]()
