Not at all, honestly. The magni 2 Uber wasn't even enough for the HE-500. Some even say the ragnorok doesn't power it properly.

Not even remotely. If you want to power them on the cheap, find yourself a nice 40-50W class-A vintage receiver from the 70's or early 80's. Sansui, Marantz, Pioneer, Yamaha, Harmon-Kardon... there are some killer old receivers out there just waiting to be stolen off of ebay. Or scope out your local pawn shop or used hifi store. Lots of folks in this thread know vinatge receivers, so don't be afraid to tap them for advice.

Lol, yeah, pretty much all of it. Dude, that’s the motherload. If I lived in Austin, I’d be over there tomorrow checking out different amps!

Ask if they have some vintage Pioneer receivers (SX line) as well..those are top tier to me..IMO

For real? They Dynaco's look cool. And the ones with the simple faces like the Carver and Sony. I'm calling tomorrow for prices. I really don't know what to go after.

    They have a Pioneer SA-900.

    Pioneer SX-1250. Looks awesome.

Now that's what I'm talking about! I'd swing over and grab this baby in a wink! This amp will drive anything short of an electrostatic headphone. And that's only through the headphone jack.

And if it comes with 230V i'd be crazy enough to ask you to purchase on my behalf and ship it to me hahahahaha

It's the best-looking machine, for sure--and I'm shallow. Haha! I'll price this one tomorrow, for sure.

So HE6 is no problem through the headphone jack? Is it better still through the speaker tap?

I'd go for the speaker tap.
