I still like the gustard h10 for the 560. It was also fine with my senns and iems. Tons of power and tames the highs a bit. Used with upgraded opamps are $300.

Well, I ended up joining the drop on the NuForce HA-200. InnerFidelity's review recommended the amp for planars. It's a simple class A design with a single gain stage, which I like. The drop had it for $149.99 from $350 original MSRP, for which it sold until recently. And, as I discovered, it's very easy to switch between 115 V and 230 V voltage, which really suits me as I move between Europe and Japan often.

And then I got a bit carried away... A few guys here on head-fi recommended to go for 2 of the amps for that price and use them in a dual mono configuration. I liked the idea, it's just seems very badass to me to power the HE-560 with monoblocks

and joined the drop for a second time.

So I blew my savings towards the amp I originally wanted to get (was considering Mjolnir 2 & MicroZOTL2), but I am happy with my choice. I can now try a truly balanced config, while using SE class A amps. And I can write you how I like the sound of it through the HE-560.

If I am not happy with the combo, I can still get one of the amps I wanted in the future, and can even use it as a preamp to the NuForce monoblocks, so I will have some interesting options

Thanks all for your help and advice!

Cross posted but thought I'd try here also. New owner of the ican Se with the 560 I'm able to get to 12 o'clock are these really that hard to drive or am I underpowered. .maybe defective 15v ?:/

12 o'clock?
(from my memory) on my ican (mine are without Se though) it's pretty normal.
At least close to 12 o'clock. On the lowest gain.

Hello,

I am choosing to buy an amplifier for HE-560
What do you think: Gustard A20H or is better ... some separate amp and separate DAC ?
I dont like bright sound. Previously I had DAC Aune S16 and I really liked his sound character. A little on the "warm" side.

Greetings from Slovenia (small country in the EU)

Gorgeous Plitvice. I haven't heard the a20h. The h10 from gustard was really good for the he560. I used it with quite a few dacs and nothing got weird or ugly. Good luck

The Airist Audio Heron 5 will be perfect for your tastes. They really make the HE560 sound incredible.

yea....but this is only amp for 1000$. Plus I need DAC. And I realy love on AKM based DACs.

Does anyone have experience with the HE-560 + A20H?
Here in Europe I can buy Gustard H10 + Aune S16 for 1000€ with shipping
or Gustard A20H for 925€ with shipping cost

I'm thinking if I take A20H and even if does not prove sufficient for the HE-560,
I can still buy better amplifier later. And use A20H as a standalone DAC.

Hmm...

Have a look at the below link. Its an integrated DAC/Amp offering tremendous sound and value. Best of all it has  dual AKM Veritas 4490 chips.

Very interesting. Nice dac/amp. But for now is little to much 1600€.
Im looking in 1000€ rang.

Simon

A Schiit Modi MB ($250) and Feliks Elise ($700) might just make your budget, I don't know what they will cost in Europe so it may be over budget.

This is the one you want.

Tascam UH-7000.

Its a desktop unit...Its not portable, however, its sound is incomparable below $999.99 USD.
The headphone amp is powerful and sounds incredible.
Its warm and analog sounding, lush and pristine.......and SO musical.
