I am daydreaming what a wood yolk would look like on those original wood cups...veneer and plastic cup is like the ugly step sibling...

The more wood the better

That end flange was a little oversized, sanded a small amount of material off and after that the fit was fine. The first seven yokes I've printed have this "issue", will ship these anyway since its an easy fix. For a next batch I've redicued the diameter from 5.25mm to 5.1mm which should better match the original."[/QUOTE]
Perfect job. I just hope to become at least close to your skill and talent. I just bought a 3d printer myself, but I still have to learn how to use it, then learn some CAD software  .

That all wood looks really good, just wondering if anyone here owns or done lots of listening time with the AFO's I do on a daily basis, and I got to say the 560's have much better treble & mids than the AFO's. I really enjoy my AFO's but for any critical listening it's the 560's all the time, such a great hp and for the price I say they can't be beat. I'll be getting the Clear's soon we'll see how they compare..enjoy

Anyone willing to sell me either the new style (2.5mm) balanced or single ended cable from their HE560 for $50?

EDIT: Found one, thanks

I have a balanced cable which has 2.5mm TRRS at amp and 2.5mm at the headphone end. Is that interesting, or are you just looking for XLR connections?

Assuming you get a non-busted 560 they represent AMAZING value.

I have a/b'd them extensively with the Audeze line and am not likely to switch any time soon... Now mine are different, but even still... amazing value.
Very nice mod. Does mojo can drive he560 pretty well?
Yes it does. Loud enough to hurt.

Thanks, but I'm looking for a stock 1/4 or XLR cable from the HE560.

@ra990 btw how does the he560 compare to the clear; i know different driver techs so different sound - but which of the 2 would you reach for for say classicals, rock, edm?
I preferred the slight warm and dynamic character of the Clears over the HE560, but they cost more than twice as much so the should sound better. I think the HE560 sound pretty good for their current sale price and are a really good value if you can get one without issues.
