Selling my HE-400.
Bought this on November 2012 from Head-Direct.
Comes with TWO pairs of velour pads, no pleather.
Asking for $300 total if gifted, or $310 total. USA ONLY.
As with typical use, the Hifiman branding on the yokes started wearing off, so I rubbed them off completely. Now the HE-400 looks like a prototype with no labeling/branding. Makes it look sleeker, IMHO. It is depicted in the pictures. Trust me, unless you treat them like they'd break at any moment, the labeling would have started rubbing off sooner than later. Blame Hifiman for using cheap white paint.
The headphone works perfectly, and there are no real major physical imperfections from what I can tell. The blemishes on the second pic are flash/dust/etc, not scratches. 3rd pic imperfection is reflection of the metal arm.
Caveat is that they are currently on loan to a friend, and won't have them until the middle of next week, so pay now, and it will be delivered as soon as possible (shipped from my friend's location).
