Bogatyr how would you like to test out my new EqualizerAPO switcher app? Or anyone else who uses EqualizerAPO for that matter?

It loads a list of all APO config files and allows the user to switch to any config on the fly.

You first set the path with your config.txt file and all other headphone config files. This is stored so you only do it once the first time you load the app.

It will then load the list of configs, with the one you have currently set as highlighted. Just select which one you want to load and click Set. You can also change the gain.

Hopefully you don't run into any bugs..

Thank you for sharing. Your program works but I'm going to stick to my current technique. A Config.txt shortcut on the desktop, I can enable any of my presets by removing the forward slash from the "/Include:".

Just got my HE-400 from the mailman today, switched to velour pads and quickly plugged it in on my M-Stage.

All I can say is wow

I didn't know what to expect since its my first nice headphone. I love the clarity of it. I went back to my old headset for a minute just to see the difference and after listening to the HE-400,
my old headphone (Astro A40) sounds so bad compare to the HE-400. I don't even wanna use that anymore lol

I'm currently using my astro a40 gaming headset as well. So I just ordered the he-500 schiit lyr and bifrost uber. My frist setup as well. Can't wait for them to come in!

very nice review. I am even more intrigued by them. Only thing is i am now even thinking of bumping up to he500. What do you guys thinK?

Well, you should get a good price on used 500's on this website if you are looking at used 500's as the new 560 are shipping/received by a few and the 500's don't have the treble peak problems of the 400's in stock form so they will be a great bargain. I think after any price dip on 500's they will become a collectors item later on.
