That's about where I'm guessing too. Something in the range 3000-3999. I can't see it being anything below 2500.
 
Very much hope I'm wrong in this. Such a pricing is going to shut out a lot of folks.
 
Also have to wait and see how it compares with the modded HE6 sonically. It would have to outperform the modded HE6 significantly to get me to part with that much cash, and given how well a modded HE6 sounds (when well amped) that is a big ask indeed.
 
Looking forward to hearing some impressions from fellow HeadFiers (the only opinions that mean much to me).

Sell a kidney, you only need one and I hear the going rate is fairly high

It wouldn't make any sense at all to price HEK over 2k unless it's an absolute necessity. They're basically competing against LCD-3 as an TOTL magneplanar,that's it.

My soul should be good and clean, though I had a Philippine Ifugo witch doctor/ shaman curse me lol, the village chief would not let me out of her sight. It was a case of miscommunication but boy was she mad lol. However if my soul is flavored by the deeds of previous lives, I am a crispy fried critter lol. I just know, I was a bummer under Sherm a n in a previous life and that cost some karma lol.

Could be - but we have no idea where Moon Audio got that number from. It is certainly a lot more palatable than the Abyss pricing.
