Just wanted to comment on the most brilliant service from HifiMan.
I am lucky enough to own a pair of He 400i headphones.
A few months after the warranty expired my headphone cable became faulty.
HifiMan agreed to replace these and only asked for the shipping costs to be for my account.
All the way from China to South Africa HifiMan ensured I had a replacement cable within 3 weeks.
I cannot rate them highly enough.

Hi,

I was browsing the forum for feedback on Hifiman's customer support, as I recently had the worst experience with them. Long story short, I bought the $650 upgrade from HE1000 V1 to V2, and I'm now sitting on the second pair of faulty headphones they sent me, and they haven't replied to any of my emails in more than 3 weeks now. Did you reach out to them using the customerservice@hifiman.com email address, or through a local dealer?
