Hifiman EF600 vs Aune S9c Pro

Looking to make changes and upgrades to my headphone set up for the first time in several years. The current setup is getting finicky, and I'm just ready for a change more than anything. Will also likely be upgrading headphones in the coming year, but those are acting up with connectivity issues so they aren't the current priority.

Current: Computer(s) > Schiit Modius > Arcam rhead (xlr) > Hifiman HE-4XX

Aune isn't cheap but they really deliver. My first setup had an Aune S6 and Hifiman Ananda. They just never did a big branding attempt in the U.S. so they're not as well known.
