Hey!
I'm looking at getting a dedicated desk headphone amplifier. I currently use the Philips Cityscape Uptown and a Fiio E6 for my on the go use, but looking to get a set of open back headphones(AKG Q701 or Sennheiser HD 598, haven't decided yet, but keep those two in mind). I was wondering what would be the better thing to get, the HiFi-Man EF2A, a tube headphone amplifier, or a solid state Magni from Schiit Audio. For music, I listen to pretty much everything, but usually listen to Rock and Metal more than anything else. Anyways, what would be the best amp to get? I will also consider getting other amps around the same price, $150-$200 range. Thanks in advanced!

get your Schiit together and get the Schiit stack, along with the Sennheiser HD 598, my dream setup currently considering I dont have much money, and if you dont like your Schit or Senns, I can accept them

, but I have heard this combo before at a friends house and its amazing for a sub-$400 price range.
