Nice work! I too listen to electronic quit bit, only thing I want is a touch more bass to give a bit more punch at the low end. Otherwise its damn near perfect, I don't think I need any other headphones. its the end game for me. So anyone interested in he560?LOL

I agree. End game.

I hope.

What dac/amps are you guys running to your Aryas?

I am running them from the balanced output of a V850/V280 stack using a stock Focal XLR cable.

Got my Arya last week and have been very impressed so far. Want to see if they are worth the upgrade from the Focal Elex which I currently own.

For total clarity and transparency, hd800s is behind the utopia by a significant margin. But hd800s creates a large headstage by pushing the midrange further away from ears.

Agreed. Even the T1 has more clarity and transparency imo.

Running the ADI-2 and loving it! I'm STILL waiting on my Dyson interconnects so I can test out the THX AAA 789.

I try not to use that term but let's just say that I won't be looking for another pair of full-size headphones ANYTIME soon haha. However, I do want to hear the LCDi4. I'm hoping it can be my go to for travel and work.

Waw. I found the T1 was a joke, a farce, compared to the HD800S.

I think you are vastly overstating. I own both and love them for different reasons; the T1 definitely has more clarity and transparency, strings and vocals in particular could not be any cleaner.
The HD800 does other things better but is less clear and transparent than the T1.
At least that's how i feel about them.

Well i respect your impressions but I only listen to classical music and found the T1 was crap.
I find the HD800S far cleaner and clearer with all instruments.

For classical music i agree that the HD800 is superior in its ability to 'separate and disect' large orchestral arrangements using a wider and taller canvas (soundstage) but not because it has more clarity and transparency.
The HD800 is my favorite headphone for classical music.
Vocal tracks? T1.
Acoustic strings? T1.
